Author Bio

     I am Aidan Gray. I was born in Arizona after the turn of the 21st century. Growing up, I escaped into stories, and hero stories were always my favorite. I went to ASU to pursue journalism to feed my passion and drive for writing, but life had other ideas.

     As a writer born in Gen-Z, I was able to access an infinite library of stories as well as analysis, behind-the-scenes, and more through the wonderful and terrifying internet. Decades of life-changing fictitious work at my fingertips.

     In the early summer of 2024, I was hospitalized due to a severe infection. Little did I know during my four days in a hospital gown that I was knocking on death's door. Nurses visiting me at home multiple days a week, and follow-up surgeries as far out as my birthday in late summer, helped me realise the severity of my situation.

     It was after coping with a nearly fatal experience that I gained a new perspective. It was gratitude for life and love that drove me to pursue a dream of storytelling.

     That is where this series, Songs of a Little Tree, was born. What started as a mission to heal myself, became a mission to share that healing with the world through a story.

     This is me, Aidan Gray, paying forward the inspiration that has kept me going all this time. Thank you for visiting this series and making that dream come true, one page at a time.
